About us

OUR VISION

In 2015 I wanted to set up something for children to do in Failsworth. Due to government cuts in the arts budget, I decided on a performing arts groups Failsworth Performing Arts was born, to inspire young people to achieve through the arts.

I knew we also had to cater for low income families, so needed to come up with a plan to not just cater for children and young people in the area, but also their parents.

In April 2015 our first class started in Failsworth. Over the coming months dance classes were started to cater for younger children, and also cater for fun dance rather than competition and exam based.

In the next few years classes expanded, and we now have classes based on the same vision in New Moston, Oldham, Bury, Ashton and Rochdale. We now also teach ballet and contemporary dance.
